Marquinho Pagodinho (a.k.a. Mark Moskowitz) fell in love with Brazilian music many years ago after Joao Gilberto, Astrud Gilberto and Stan Getz introduced Bossa Nova to the United States.

The desire to play and sing this music became a passion. The passion led to an obsession, and the obsession led to a repertoire of Bossa Nova, Samba, Pagode and MPB (Popular Brazilian Music) that will entertain you and your guests for hours.

Marquinho, born in New York City, insists that; "A cegonha me jogou no país errado" (The stork dropped me in the wrong country) and after listening, you are sure to agree! Enjoy the sounds that made the world fall in love with Brazilian Music. Marquinho Pagodinho and Sounds of Brasil plays Bossa Nova, Pagode, Samba, and MPB.Close your eyes and you just may think you're down in Rio!

Sounds of Brasil is available as a solo, duo, trio or full band.
